POF 6-Position Mil-Spec Buffer Tube - AR15

The Patriot Ordnance Factory AR15 Buffer Tube is a great choice when using one of our 9mm Hydraulic Buffers with our PCC Buffer Weight to have a short stroke system that stops forward of the bolt catch. Since the PCC Buffer weight adds .75" to the overall buffer system, it will shorten the bolt stroke by that amount. This buffer tube can also be used without the PCC buffer weight for a lighter full stroke system.

The POF Mil-Spec 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum Anti-tilt Buffer Tube uses a "carrier cradle" extension to ensure that the carrier is always supported by the buffer tube, even when the bolt is forward. This prevents excessive carrier-tilt and premature wear on the buffer tube. The buffer-retaining pin/plunger doubles as a lock that prevents the buffer tube from rotating and becoming loose under extreme operation conditions. POF's design also features three (3) extra drain holes on the bottom rear of the tube through the last three position notches to ensure good drainage in wet and marine environments.
