For 9mm ARs with 14.5" - 16" carbine barrels, we combine our 9mm Hydraulic buffer with a JP AR-10 RIFLE Spring for a great running combo. The AR-10 Rifle Spring has a bit more strength than the AR-10 Carbine Springs and runs the smoothest with most carbine length 9mm barrels when using our 9mm Hydraulic buffer. These springs are centerless ground and polished on the outside edge for super smooth, quiet operation. So you get very little spring noise.

Blitzkrieg Components partnered with KynShot to develop a top of the line 9mm AR-15 buffer using KynShot's Hydraulic Buffer Technology. The 9mm Hydraulic Buffer is made from 17-4 Stainless Steel and uses hydraulic shock absorption to dampen the impact of the bolt at the rear of its travel. It's weight and length have been optimized for the 9mm application so that it runs reliably, softens recoil, smooths out the action, and stops just behind the bolt catch using any 9mm ammo type. It is the smoothest running, softest recoiling 9mm buffer available and will allow faster follow up shots, improved accuracy and less wear on the firearm.
The blowback operation of the 9mm AR-15 drives a very heavy bolt much harder than a standard AR-15 BCG and it needs to be dampened as much as possible to optimize the system, reduce wear on the firearm and reduce recoil and sight movement. The hydraulic shock absorption is very effective and will feel softer and run quieter than any conventional AR buffer or 9mm buffer. Spring noise is also dramatically reduced using this buffer. Much of the spring noise on 9mm AR15s comes from the abrupt stop of a conventional buffer causing spring vibration. Our buffer dampens the impact for a soft landing minimizing spring noise. The length of this buffer stops the bolt just behind the bolt catch on a 9mm AR-15 without the need for a spacer. The JP AR-10 Rifle Spring is best for 9mm ARs with 14.5" - 16" barrels when using our 9mm Hydraulic Buffer.
