Part of the beauty of the Blitzkrieg Gen 2 HK & PTR Front Sights is that they are modular and allow you to change out the sight reticle easily by hand. This part is the Front Sight Reticle only which can be interchanged with other Blitzkrieg Front Sight Reticles on the Blitzkrieg Gen 2 HK & PTR Front Sights. So if you bought a Blitzkrieg HK or PTR Gen 2 Front Sight, you can get this sight reticle which is interchangeable with the reticle that came in that front sight. Once initial installation of your HK or PTR front sight is complete, you have the option of changing reticles by hand in less than a minute. All you have to do is unscrew the lock ring to remove one reticle and install another and tighten the lock ring on it. So if you want to
change colors or try a new sight model in the future, changing reticles is a
snap.

The Spike Tipped Post with Tritium Dot, Green Polymer Ring and Lumi Green (Glow) Stripe provides a bold, fast sight picture. Made in the USA of billet machined 416 Stainless Steel with a black oxide finish, Tritium Dot with Green Polymer Ring and a Hand Painted Glow Green Stripe in machined groove.
Paint Characteristics: The Luminescent (Glow) Green Chevron Stripe glows very bright when
charged and the glow brightness dissipates gradually in darkness. The
brighter and longer the light charge is, the brighter and longer the
glow will be. Sunlight and Tactical flashlights give the best charge.
Will glow very well after just a few seconds of charge. Typically, in
total darkness after being charged for about 5-10 seconds with a
tactical flashlight, you can expect it to glow very bright for about 5
minutes, bright for about 20-30 minutes and at a lower level that is
visible and useful to dark adjusted eyes for hours. It also works very
well when transitioning from bright daylight to indoors, a dark room or
shade because it will appear very bright initially and as your eyes
adjust to lower light levels, the glow dissipates gradually yet will
still appear easy to pick up. This color is a bright, contrasting yellow color in daylight designed to be easy to pick up against any type of background. It provides a very bright, fast sight picture in any light. This color has proven to be very effective and is well liked by many of our customers. The painted stripe is a multi-layer paint application into a machined groove for optimal color and durability.
