The Blitzkrieg Components Gen 2 HK Style Front Sight is a revolutionary approach to this iconic sighting system. It provides a stunning sight picture, rapid & precise aiming and installs in a completely new way. We also brought the sight face forward, toward the shooter, so that is is easier to see and not back in the shadows of the sight hood. This model with conventional flat tipped post and the eye catching boldness of a circle dot tritium with a colored stripe below it is fast and easy to see. The combination of a big tritium dot and an orange paint stripe is super easy to pick up in any lighting condition. You will love the way this sight looks and how well you shoot with it.
Installation has been completely re-engineered for our Gen 2 HK sight models to eliminate problems like sliding a nicely finished sight through a tight slot or hammering a roll pin through a new sight putting stress on it. Now the roll pin is installed first, then the new sight is installed easily and securely by hand. The roll pin is used as an anti-rotation device. This new design also allows a new level of flexibility. Once initial installation is complete, the shooter has the option of changing reticles by hand in less than a minute. So if you want to change colors or try a new sight model in the future, installation is a snap.
Made in the USA of billet machined 416 Stainless Steel with a black oxide finish a Large Tritium Dot with Orange Ring and a Bright Orange painted stripe. The Tritium Dot is supplied by Night Fision and has an orange polymer ring around it. The painted stripe is a multi-layer paint application into a machined groove for optimal color, durability and glow characteristics.
